A little about me...
Rumi was adopted from San Luis Obispo Animal Services in California in June of 2023. His backstory is unknown, but he sat at the shelter for two months without any interest so by the time my husband and I came in, his adoption fee was waived entirely. Rumi is the first rat I've ever had, and he inspired us to adopt several more senior rats, all of who have since passed away. Rumi is more than three years old now, which is very old for a rat, but he continues to enjoy his life. He has traveled with us to Lake Tahoe, San Diego, and Crater Lake, among other destinations. This weekend he will be coming with us to Squamish! Go, Rumi, go!
