Rules

Entries:

Photos of dogs and/or birds are accepted.
Photos may contain more than one dog or bird.
Photos must be high-resolution (300 dpi or greater) and in landscape (horizontal) format to be considered for a month spread in the calendar.
Photos must be full-color.
No heavily filtered, edited or altered photos.
Your pet does NOT have to be adopted from Last Chance at Life Animal Rescue or live in Southern California to be eligible to enter the photo contest. LCAL alumni, family, friends and fans are all welcome.
People and/or other animals are not allowed in photos, only your dog and/or bird.
All photos must be uploaded; we cannot accept printed photos.
Any photograph that includes content that is deemed inappropriate will be removed from the contest.
We cannot accept any copyrighted or professional photos unless taken by one of our photographer sponsors and posted with permission.
All online photo entries must be submitted and votes must be cast by 7:00 p.m. PST September 1, 2021.
Photos that do not follow these rules will not be eligible to win with no opportunity for a refund.
All photos submitted become the property of Last Chance at Life All Breed Animal Rescue.
Note: Posting more than one photo of your dog does not increase the chances of winning. Also, the same dog can only win one month spread in the calendar.

Voting:

Each $1 USD donation counts as one (1) vote.
All donations from voting are non-refundable. Entries and donations must be made via the online contest page. Contest payments online are through a secure site.
All winners will be determined by electronic vote tabulations under the supervision of GOGO Photo Contest, whose decisions are ﬁnal and binding.
You will be able to upload your photos and vote starting August 4, 2021, at 7 a.m. PST.

Judges' Choice Picks:

The judges at LCAL will choose 5–9 photos for a month spread.
To be considered for a month spread, photos must:
- Follow the above rules for entries.
- Be high-resolution (300 dpi or greater).
- Be in landscape (horizontal) format.
Photos of dogs and/or birds outdoors in nature and in their natural state (without costume) are preferred and will receive more consideration for a month spread in the calendar.

The Fine Print:

By submitting a photo entry, you warrant and represent that your entry is your own original work created by you and that you own or otherwise control all of the rights to your entry materials. If you submit an entry that is copyrighted by another individual, you are responsible for any legal action the copyright holder takes against you.
Calendars will be available to the general public starting December 2021.
By participating in the Contest, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Last Chance at Life All-Breed Animal Rescue and each of their respective oﬃcers, directors, representatives, volunteers and agents (the Released Parties) from and against any claims of any nature arising out of participation in the Contest or receipt or use of any prize.
