Rules

Entries:

Photos of all pets are accepted (dogs, birds, cats, horses, etc.). If your pet wants to support LCAL and help raise money for our cause, we are happy to have them join the fun!
Your pet does NOT have to be adopted from Last Chance at Life Animal Rescue or live in Southern California to be eligible to enter the photo contest. LCAL alumni, family, friends and fans are all welcome.
People are NOT allowed in photos, only your pets.
Photos may contain more than one pet, but the top 3 winners may need to choose one pet for their photo shoot.
Photos must be full-color.
No heavily filtered, edited or altered photos.
All photos must be uploaded; we cannot accept printed photos.
Any photograph that includes content that is deemed inappropriate will be removed from the contest.
We cannot accept any copyrighted or professional photos unless taken by one of our photographer sponsors and posted with permission.
All photos submitted become the property of Last Chance at Life All Breed Animal Rescue.
All online photo entries must be submitted and votes must be cast by 11:59:59 PM (Pacific Time) on Sunday, July 3, 2022.
Photos that do not follow these rules will not be eligible to win with no opportunity for a refund.
Posting more than one photo of your pet does not increase the chances of winning. Also, the same pet can only win one month spread in the calendar.

Voting:

Each $1 USD donation counts as one (1) vote.
All donations from voting are non-refundable. Entries must be made via the online contest page. Contest payments online are through a secure site.
Donations must be made via the online contest page. Entrants can also create a Facebook Fundraiser for LCAL and we will assign those dollars as votes to their pet's contest page.
All winners will be determined by electronic vote tabulations under the supervision of GOGO Photo Contest, whose decisions are ﬁnal and binding.
You will be able to upload your photos and vote starting at 12:00:00 AM (Pacific Time) on Friday, June 3, 2022.

Raffle Tickets:

You will receive one raffle ticket for entering the photo contest.
You will receive an additional raffle ticket for every 20 votes that your pet receives!
We will raffle off a prize every week.
Submit your votes/donations/entry early so that you are entered in all of our weekly prize drawings!

Judges' Choice Picks:

The judges at LCAL may choose your high quality, beautiful amateur photo of your pet for a month spread!
Photos of your pet dogs or birds outdoors in nature and in their natural state (without costume) are our weakness and will receive more consideration for a month spread in the calendar, but all pets, outfits and backdrops are welcome.
Remember, no copyrighted or professional photos unless you have express permission or your photo was taken by one of our photographer sponsors.
To be considered for a month spread, your photo must:
- Follow the above rules for entries.
- Be high-resolution (300 dpi or greater for a 12x12 inch photo).
- Be in square format or maintain high resolution of 300+ dpi for a 12x12-inch photo when cropped into square format.

The Fine Print:

By submitting a photo entry, you warrant and represent that your entry is your own original work created by you and that you own or otherwise control all of the rights to your entry materials. If you submit an entry that is copyrighted by another individual, you are responsible for any legal action the copyright holder takes against you.
By participating in the Contest, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Last Chance at Life All-Breed Animal Rescue and each of their respective oﬃcers, directors, representatives, volunteers and agents (the Released Parties) from and against any claims of any nature arising out of participation in the Contest or receipt or use of any prize.
