The majority of the dogs we pull have a story.
Abandoned senior. Stressed and bored working dog labeled as vicious. Broken leg after being hit by a car. Blind or deaf dog that found itself in the system. Young, healthy dog to be euthanized within 24 hours. And on and on.
With your help we will do everything in our power to give our dogs the happily "furever" after they deserve.
Our focus is helping dogs in Southern California that have medical needs, behavioral needs, or that find themselves overlooked. Most often these dogs are facing euthanasia because of their medical or behavioral needs or due to overcrowding in shelters. Because of this, we are truly their Last Chance at Life.
The majority of our adoptable dogs are in foster homes while others are cared for at our Adoption Center in Oceanside, CA. They receive the very best in medical care from the doctors and staff at our veterinary partners. #TeamLCAL is committed to taking great care of our dogs while they await adoption into forever homes!
