Lucy is a one and a half-year-old black lab mix. Caitlin and Dan rescued Lucy from Last Hope as a very shy and unusually mellow 3-month old pup, who was found abandoned with her sisters in Texas. She used to hide all day, was very untrusting of people, and was terrified of being outdoors.

Today, they see a completely different side to her! She loves to snuggle and play. When people come to the house, rather than running to hide, her tail wags and is interested in what’s going on. She LOVES being outside! People/squirrel watching and playing with her neighborhood dog-friends are her favorite things to do!
