My husband and I adopted Riley from a local shelter in 2013. He was a stray found in Florida and was likely abandoned by humans and left to fend for himself on the streets. Because of his history, he can be reactive around other dogs which can be a very difficult situation when trying to find potential pet parents. He is a total sweetheart with us and has become the perfect cuddly work from home office assistant for me. Through some behavioral training and accommodations, we have been able to give Riley 11 happy years with us (and counting!)
