At just a few weeks old, Obi's litter was abandoned at the shelter in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. LHK9 stepped up to help, and in 2020 Obi traveled to Massachusetts and joined our family. Two years and twelve foster siblings later, we drove down to quarantine to pick up a terrified, supposedly aggressive pup who needed a short-term place to decompress... and the rest is history! "Just a few days" quickly turned into eight months, and it became clear that Solo's totally weird (but not at all aggressive!) personality was the perfect addition to our pack. We officially foster failed in June 2023, but he knew he was home long before we did!

Obi & Solo are best buddies and it's honestly hard to believe they didn't grow up together. They love snuggling, romping in the yard, and head-butting each other out of the way for attention. Solo's wacky personality is the perfect foil to Obi's easygoing old-man vibe, and they bring out the best in each other. We are so grateful to Last Hope for giving them a chance and helping them find their way home to us!
