Rules

• All photo entries must include at least one dog (more than one dog per picture is welcome!) – dogs do not need to be adopted from Last Hope K9 Rescue to enter.
• Photos must contain only dogs and other animals (no people please)
• Photo captions must accompany all submissions. Please include:
  • Name(s) of the dog(s)
  • Owner’s name
  • Owner’s email address (used by LHK9 to contact the winners)
  • Mailing address (used if you win a free calendar)
  • A brief story about the dog(s) in the photo. Is this a Last Hope K9 Rescue dog or from another organization? What is a fun or interesting fact about the dog(s) in the photo?  Please limit this to 100 words.
• Photos must be in color AND high-resolution digital images
• Photos must be horizontal (landscape) format
• At the conclusion of the contest, winners will have 48 hours to submit a landscape-oriented photo to be included in the calendar if their original submission is not landscape orientation. If a photo is not received, the position in the calendar will be forfeited
• Please do not submit any photo collages
• Last Hope K9 Rescue reserves the right to crop, resize, or edit a photo if necessary
   

• There is no limit on how many photos you can enter. Each photo entry is a $10 donation to Last Hope K9 Rescue
• Contest is live 8:00:00 AM (Eastern Time) on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 to 9:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Friday, November 1, 2024
• Each vote requires a $1 donation to Last Hope K9 Rescue
  
  

• In the event of a tie, Last Hope K9 Rescue will randomly select a winner
• Contest participants are responsible for ensuring that they have the right to submit the photos being entered in the contest
  • By submitting a photo to the contest, you affirm that you are the photographer or have been given unrestricted use permission by the photographer, to submit the photo
• No refunds will be provided
  
  

1^st Place

The entrant with the most votes will win the coveted cover calendar spot in the Last Hope K9 Rescue 2025 Calendar

2^nd Place

The entrant with the second most votes will have his/her winning photo featured in a month of his/her choosing in the Last Hope K9 Rescue 2025 Calendar

3^rd through 13^th Place

The photos with the 3^rd through 13^th most votes will each receive their winning photo featured in one of the remaining 11 months of the Last Hope K9 Rescue 2025 Calendar

Additional Prizes

All entries with 100 votes or more will receive a copy of the Last Hope K9 Rescue 2025 Calendar
