Bubba was found wandering in the Maryland countryside and taken to a high-kill shelter where the Last Chance Ranch found him. I swore I'd never get another chow (they are very protective), but one look at that face and I was a goner.
It's been a year now and Bubba has adapted well to my home and is the "Mayer of the Cul-de-sac" with the other dogs in the neighborhood.
I'm not sure who rescued who -- but Bubba is definitely my guy!
