"Happy Gotcha Day"
Liberty was purchased at auction in July of 2020, just 1 month after I started my employment with LCR as Assistant Barn Manager. Upon her first farrier trim, she was diagnosed with canker on 3 of her hooves. The soles of her hooves were unrecognizable. Her hooves requires daily treatments and wraps for 18 months! We worked diligently along side of Quakertown Veterinary Clinic, and farrier - Josh Houge. With a lot of vet wrap & elastikon and the love and tender care from so many volunteers and staff around her, Liberty had a full recovery. On December 15th, 2022 I was blessed with the opportunity to give her a home.
