A little about me...
Our first week with Cleo, we were all attacked by a rabid raccoon. This raccoon hung onto her collar. Both animals were snarling, and Cleo was bucking trying to release the animal. The raccoon finally let go of Cleo‘s collar and thankfully my husband was carrying a pistol and he shot it. Unfortunately, he had to shoot the raccoon three times because it continued to come after us. Cleos chest was full of blood, so I bathed her while my husband was on the phone with the police and the vet. She had no injuries at all. None of us did. My husband and I had to go through the rabies series and Cleo just got a booster.
