Lady Bear was one of 11 puppies born in March 2016 and dropped with her mama Lucy at a kill shelter near Tallahassee just a few days after being born. Lady Bear, Lucy and her six surviving sibling puppies were rescued by the Leon County Humane Society and fostered for eight weeks until being adopted out to various members of the Badass Fitness studio family. Lady Bear was adopted in May and has settled into life with her brother, calendar cover boy Sir Burpee. She loves greeting everyone at the studio when they come in for class, and can never get enough carrots, chicken, or treats. She is a quick learner and such a wonderful play buddy for her brother. She is a wonderful reminder of the need to give shelter puppies a second chance and a wonderful life ! And I honestly cannot imagine life without her now. She is my feisty, snuggly, independent, smart little redheaded girl.
