Elliot was adopted exactly one year ago today. Shortly thereafter, he developed severe pneumonia due to catching bordetella at the animal shelter(not LCHS!). He was in the kitty ER several times and spent two separate 8-day stays in an oxygen tank at Capital Veterinary Specialists. He had to take 4 different meds, including a daily injection from the loving professionals at CVS. Despite being terribly ill, Elliot always showed a will to live - especially around meal time. We posted daily updates on Facebook, and soon Elliot had a HUGE following. He received get well cards and gifts, as well as a request to be featured in a story on Florida Public Radio. Each photo posted on Facebook would get at least 100 Likes! His fan base grew to where strangers were wishing us and him well. It took 4 months for him to be out of quarantine so he could meet his sister Skylar Marie and 2 additional months for him to be off meds. He is truly a miracle kitty. A famous one at that!
