I'm a loving little Border Collie from South Carolina who was hit by a car and left on the roadside when I was young. The pound folks picked me up but did not treat my broken leg. I lay in agony until the scheduled day of my execution. I never did understand why anyone would let me lie in pain--or even worse, kill me, as all I know how to do is love. On that last day, a miracle occurred--the Phoenix Rising Border Collie Rescue (PRBCR) folks found me, saved me, and had my throbbing leg set. I got to live on a farm in North Carolina while my leg slowly healed. When I was ready for adoption, PRBCR made me their poster girl (so I do have relevant experience for this calendar job). Meanwhile, a lonely lady in Florida was looking for a Border Collie but could not find one in her area. She scouted the Internet and found me and fell in love. I moved to sunny Florida for my furever home and never looked back. Please consider my soft, silky fur, photogenic color combination, happy smile, and previous experience when you cast your vote.
