Boakie is an 8-year-old white boxer, adopted as a puppy from B.A.R.C. (Boxer Aid & Rescue Coalition). While white boxers are not as rare as you might think (20-25% of all boxers are white), they are not considered a part of the boxer breed standard, so in the past they were euthanized by breeders. Boakie excels at sneaking into the guest room to sleep on the bed, stomping roaches and playing with his squeak toys while you're trying to watch tv.
