Tilly (short for Matilda Mae) is our rescue girl adopted in January of 2012. We saw her sweet, sad hound dog face at a rescue event at the Tallahassee Fairgrounds and could not resist. Tilly has come a long way since becoming part of our family and fits in just perfectly! She loves to play and snuggle with us. She also "talks" to us - her favorite word is Mama! She has had two surgeries on her leg this year due to a torn ACL and meniscus but has recovered well and is loving her adventures again. Tilly loves car rides and running along side our bikes. She keeps us laughing and has become our third "daughter." Her big sisters (Cait-10 and Delainey-9) are her best friends. Tilly doesn't mind sharing us with her cat friend or the occasional foster dog friends that spend time with us. A vote for Tilly is a vote for rescue dogs without much hope. She has proven to us that even challenging dogs can become well adjusted with the appropriate attention and perseverance.
