Bindi is an Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler. Bindi spent the first few years of her life in a puppy mill as one of the breeding dogs. When the facility was raided, she was rescued along with 8 other dogs. Sadly, she was having a much harder time recovering than the others so they made her a foster dog and guess who got to be the lucky parent? Me! I spent the next couple months nursing her back to health and developing a bond with her. I wasn't sure if I was ready for a dog, but once it came time to give her back, I knew there was no way I could do it--and that was it, she was mine. Even though she has been through the unthinkable, looking at her now, you could never tell... she is the sweetest, most gentle dog I've ever met. From her tongue sticking out when she sleeps to her little cookie dough-colored paws, she's one of the best things thats ever happened to me.
