Shep was rescued by the LCHS with many other animals from a high-kill shelter in Georgia in 2015. He was underweight and had lost most of his hair. After being fostered an angel, Shelby, he was presented for adoption at Proctor Suburu's Save-a-life event. Just so happened; my girlfriend was in town from Orlando and wanted to go to the event with her rescued pup. I fell in love! Call my hubby to come see him and there was no turning back! He still suffers from seasonal allergies, but he is living BIG and loving life. He is so sweet, if he wasn't still shy of men with beards, we would love to be therapy partners with children-but some doctors and nurses (and fathers) have beards... a dream in progress.
