In the first weeks of Beebop's life, she was thrown from a moving car into a wooden privacy fence. Luckily, someone saw this happen and ran to her aid. She was taken to a wonderful vet who stabilized an unconscious puppy.

After days, she woke up. The first thing the doc heard was her tiny tail wagging against the exam table. He knew he had to do everything he could for this little girl.

She was left with a lesion on the part of her brain that controls motor skills. She also has epilepsy.

At first she could not stand up. Then she walked in circles constantly hitting her head. Her name comes from the way she moves. They tried a little cart and helmet but those triggered seizures.

At a year old, her care was passed to me. I was honored to be trusted with with such a gift and responsibility. She has learned to get from point A to point B and she has learned to stand still. Her seizures are controlled with meds. The only time her tremors stop is when she is sleeping. She's like a little angel when she's sleeping.

Though all this, Beebop remains deliriously happy and has no idea she's different. My love for her sweet little face is immeasurable.

She receives a lot of love from a lot of people. This is what the Humane Society does every day. Support them. Vote for my Beebop.
