Pet Parent's Name

A short paragraph (250 words or less) that tells voters something fun or interesting about the pet in the photo. For example, is this a LCHS adoptee or rescue dog? How long has he or she been a part of your family?
Flanigan, or affectionately referred to as Flanners, became a part of our family when he was found outside in the shrubs as a feisty, spirited little fellow who weighed less than 1lb. He faced some health challenges when found, but with a little extra TLC he became a healthy and happy bundle of furry fun. Flanigan is quite the handsome fellow in his grey "tuxedo", complete with a little "goatee" on his chin and a little mischievous freckle on his lip. He purrs really, really loudly; thinks its a big game to chase your feet; loves to nap in the sun and his favorite spot is to cuddle up with "mom". He is scary smart and loves it when he gets a squirt of whipped cream from the can! Flanigan was a constant companion and extra loving and attentive when his "mom" was home for 6 months with multiple medical diagnoses and surgeries. Although he is 15 years old and diabetic, that has not affected his lovable, attentive disposition and laid back attitude on life. Flanners brings an incredible amount of love and joy to our home. His shenanigans make us giggle and his gentle nudges and winks fill our hearts with love.
