We adopted our sweet Keller from the LCHS just two weeks before Christmas 2017. We had already decided on a different puppy from out of town, when a friend of ours tagged us on Facebook to tell us about this adorable, solid white puppy who was looking for her forever family. Because Keller is deaf, we knew training her would have its challenges, but as soon as her foster mom brought Keller to meet us, we knew that Keller was the one.
She has such a heart of gold. Our daughter, who is four, and Keller are “besties,” as she describes it. We cannot imagine our lives without Keller. Her loving demeanor reminds us everyday that she appreciates us for saving her from a life of the unknown and for loving her unconditionally. So thankful for the LCHS and everything they do for so many beautiful animals.
