We rescued Penny in January 2017, when we brought her home to Tallahassee from Spring Hill she was a very scared timid little girl that was afraid of her own shadow. She was a scrawny little thing. Penny had had a litter of puppies before she was 1 year old. She had never been outside before. She had never laid down in the grass and enjoyed the sunshine, she had never seen trees, birds, or squirrels... she was so amazed.
She was very hesitate and so shy at first, as you can imagine, it took time for her to absorb her new life and surroundings. Once she settled in, she was and is the boss!
Now a day's it's hard to believe she has only been around here for 1.5 years! She lives to play with all of her fur cousins, and all the kids in our family.
She loves to go riding, boating, mudding, camping, fishing, out to eat, and especially loves the beach!
Penny Louise has come such along way from never being outside, to never wanting to come inside! She watches the trees to find birds and squirrels to chase all the time!
We are so lucky to have her as part of our family!
