Elizabeth became a part of our family in 2000. She was affectionate and cuddly and purred all the time. Elizabeth loved to talk and her voice was squeaky like a baby kitten. She always answered me when I spoke to her. Chasing strings was her favorite pass time - she would bring one to you and beg! She knew when you were taking a photo and posed beautifully. Every day when I came home from work, she was waiting at the door to greet me. When birds nested in a basket on our front door, she would beg me to pick her up so she could look out the window in the door at the nest of baby birds. She'd get so excited that she'd stutter and paw at the window. We lost her in 2016 when she curled up, went to sleep and didn't wake up. She was an incredible companion with a unique personality and we miss her.
