I've had Minerva about four years. I got her my Sophomore year of college. I often hear that college students shouldn't have pets or that they'll be bad owners/abandon their animals, but Minerva has been my whole world from the moment i picked her up and she stared up at me purring. I wake up most mornings to her licking my forehead. Minerva is just happy to exist, she loves every person she meets, she has to mother the foster kittens I bring home, including her sister/foster fail Bella. Minerva was my first introduction to rescue, and since taking her home all I've wanted to do is help cats like her. She charms every person that meets her, and has converted a few "I only like dogs" people. She's truly special and I'm lucky to have her.
