I’m Bowie, like in Jim Bowie, the frontiersman with the famous knife. That might sound a bit intimidating, but I’m really a sweetheart. I’ve got a tough sister (Charlotte the Fire Cracker Kitty) and brother (intellectual but crazy Buck), and then there’s me, bringing up the rear. My older siblings have both placed in this contest, and I’d sure like to, too. I’m basically a gentle soul who found myself in a kind of awkward place--a Big Dogs adoption day. Like the lady who adopted me said, “He doesn’t look like a big dog to me.” Darn right. I’m all cat. I like nothing better than to sit in my person’s lap, rub against folks’ legs, and basically be the most social kitty around. I hope you will give me some attention in this contest, as I’m the last furkid in this family to run in this race, and I’d sure like to place like my siblings.
