About 15 years ago, "Falcor" just showed up on our back deck; two days in a row. She's a 'long-hair' beauty and looked healthy and fluffy. But when I stroked her fur, she was nothing but skin and bones; apparently lost or abandoned... and certainly emaciated!
We immediately took her in and to the vet for a check-up and any needed vaccinations.
She's been a prominent member of our family and has been for the last 15 years. But ageing is taking it's toll; she's now deaf and blind with degenerative function of her joints and appendage strength. But she has learned to navigate our home fairly well, and she continues to love and invite loving... and shows no signs of suffering. We know her precious life is winding down... but we will LOVE HER FOREVER!
