Hi! My name is Cleo and I am 14 years old. I guess that makes me a "senior kitizen!" I had a great life for eleven years with my first mama in Sarasota, but she got sick and couldn’t take care of me anymore. A local cat rescue took me in. I was there for a whole year, if you can believe it. Two families adopted me and both brought me back to the rescue. Can you imagine?! In January of 2016 my furever mom came into the shelter. I was the first cat she met and when I kissed her twice on the nose she said she didn’t need to see any other kitties because we belonged to each other now. I went home with her the next day and I am mostly a very content kitty. My strengths: Meowing at the top of my lungs; the melodic purrs I make when I’m in a state of Mewtopia; and being the greatest kitty in the world (that’s what Mom says). My passions: Eating food; begging for food; waking Mom up in the middle of the night to yell at her for food; and helping my friends at the Humane Society raise money to find homes for pets who aren't as lucky as me and my 18 year old chihuahua sister, Scout.
