A little about me...
Harley is a rescue from the Marion County Humane Society who graduated the FIDO prison project back in 2016. He had a rough previous life and did not trust people, especially males. Harley has a fear of large dogs that still affects him to this day. He may have been attacked by one. He hides under my bed when he sleeps as a coping mechanism. Marion County had a hard time finding someone to adopt him, so the FIDO project came to the rescue. With much patience, the male inmate trainer encouraged Harley to trust him and Harley learned to sit, lay down, roll over, and shake hands . When I met Harley I knew he picked me. I drew a picture of him as part of my adoption application. They accepted my application and Harley has been my best bud ever since.
