A little about me...
Pearl joined my family at 8 weeks old. Last year I had to rehome her and her sister due to an ankle injury I had while I was going through divorce. I went through LCHS and surrendered them as a last resort.

After my ankle healed in November last year, I started praying for God to help...In my prayers I talked to Pearl every day…“Please misbehave so the people who adopted you would return you to the Humane Society.”

I knew it was fruitless…I thought they wouldn’t give me my dogs back. I had no hope. But the thought was there.

I remarried my husband in April and over Memorial Day weekend found that Pearl and her sister were returned to LCHS. I prayed for their return and was able to adopt Pearl and her sister back from LCHS. Life came full circle.

After nine months Pearl ran into my arms the day I picked her up. She remembered me!! Nothing but love and kisses.

Pearl loves green beans, tomatoes, banana, carrots and ice cubes as treats.

She is a Polish Lowland Sheepdog also known as Polski Owczarek Nizinny, or PON who will be celebrating her 8th birthday in July.
