A little about me...
Tilly has been everything we needed since my girlfriend and I adopted her from LCHS in September. She instantly caught our eye when we saw her at the Timberlane location. We learned that she had just been through dental surgery to have her canine removed. Due to this, she was coming off of a wet food only diet and placed in her own enclosure. We asked to meet her and when she was let out she immediately went over to the next cage over, stuck her paw through the slats, and knocked another cat’s dry food bowl over to indulge in for herself. We couldn’t believe how smart she was. On the other hand, we had no idea how sweet and caring she would be. Tilly was rescued from a hoarding situation and had already had kittens of her own at just 1 year old. Because of this we thought she might be timid or afraid of us, but she was the opposite. The first day we took her home she crawled all over us and rubbed her nose against one of ours. Tilly wakes us up every morning with kisses and falls asleep by our sides every night. She still loves her dry food and is learning to love her new little sister, Phoebe (an orange tabby who tests her patience to no end.) Tilly has been the calm to our storm that brings a balance and joy to our lives we didn’t even know was possible.
