A little about me...
Smooch came to us in April 2026 through the Leon County Humane Society as a Scottish Fold rescue, but it didn’t take long for him to rescue our hearts right back.

From the moment we started fostering him, Smooch made it clear that he was no ordinary cat. He has a huge personality packed into one adorable package. Talk to him, and he’ll talk right back. Need a little affection? Smooch is always ready with a gentle head butt to let you know you’re loved. Want to laugh? Watch him put his entire face in the food bowl until you can’t see his head anymore!

His favorite hobby, however, might be finding the most ridiculous ways possible to get comfortable. Whether he’s stretched across the couch, twisted into a pretzel shape, or lying completely flat on his back with all four paws in the air, Smooch approaches relaxation as an art form. His antics keep us laughing every day.
What started as fostering quickly became something more. The more we got to know his sweet nature, funny quirks, and endless charm, the more obvious it became that Smooch belonged with us. I fell in love with him almost immediately and knew there was no way I could let him leave.

Smooch isn’t just a pet. He’s a constant source of laughter, love, and companionship, and our family simply wouldn’t be complete without him. ❤️🐾
