Heidi, a one-year-old Jack Russell Terrier mix, is a rescue pet whose small size belies her enormous personality and huge heart. When her family discovered her at the Animal Sevice Center, she refused to leave the corner of her kennel and would ignore any coaxing from visitors to be petted. Her true spirit emerged, however, as soon as she was placed in her (then) seven- year-old human sister's arms. She is a confirmed lap puppy who only wants to be close to her human family.
