Leo is a rescue kitty. He was so small when we "adopted" him that we had to foster him first! He earned his name by his ferocious response to play when he was itty bitty. When we held a string over him, he would reach both paws up and claw at it - - - sort of like a lion (hence, Leo the Lion). He no longer fights ferociously for anything, but enjoys lazing around the house while his people go out and earn a living to bring food home to him. Unlike some cats, Leo is crazy affectionate and loves to sleep all snuggled up to us at night - or wherever we might happen to be during the day. The photo you see is Leo in our bed, just not wanting to get up yet! We have asked Leo to please seek a modeling job where he can bring home some money to contribute to the family, but he just can't find the energy to go job hunting. So, he mostly rests, like he is doing right now. After all, it is a cat's life!
