Katy was abandoned, neglected, and thrown out with the trash. She spent a month at the Valdosta Animal Shelter before Emerlad Coast Golden Reterver Rescue saved her. Two short weeks later her forever mom scooped this love bundle up! Katy now works as a therapy dog with the TMH Animal Therapy Program, spreading wags and smiles wherever she goes. Katy is able to connect with patient because she herself is a survivor. Katy was also hit by car before her rescue, leaving her left hip dislocated and right femur joint fractured. She never received any medical attention leaving her with crooked hips. Katy is beyond loving, trusting, and is happiest around people. She truly encompasses the meaning of man's best friend! Katy now spends her days going to work with her mom, sleeping in fluffy beds, and getting spoiled with love as she so deserves!
