This is Kyle, Concho's best buddy and "uncle." Kyle is a rescue from the Tallahassee Animal Service Center. He was left in their overnight bin back in August 2010. I was contacted to serve as a foster for him. Well, I became a foster failure overnight, and Kyle became a member of our family and a new found forever home. He was terribly afraid of everything including people. It took a lot of time and patience to socialize Kyle, but now he is thriving. We had lots of help from our friends at the Tallahassee Dog Obedience Club and the local German Shorthaired Pointer Club. Kyle is still afraid of strangers, but he warms up pretty quickly these days. He is able to enjoy outings with other dogs and people. On special occasions, he gets to romp in fields looking for birds. He is a joy and we are grateful to have him as one of our pet family members.
