Ari is a 2 year old Leonberger aka lean on burger. My daughter and I drove to Missouri to pick him up when he was 9 weeks old. When he goes for walks Ari will stop to watch people walk by. He will sit down if you want to walk before he's ready and refuse to get up. If you tell him to "come" or "heal" he lays down to make sure you can't move until his 100 lb body is ready.
