Cayleigh is a little Southern Belle. She's a soft, beautiful Border Collie from upstate South Carolina--in fact, she's from the same neck of the woods as Chaser, said to be the world's smartest dog--mom figures the two are kin. Little Cayleigh had a rough start. She was hit by a car and left on the side of the road until the pound folks picked her up. She was held there, her leg untreated, until her designated last day. The Phoenix Rising Border Collie folks found her in the nick of time, and a kind vet set the leg. Cayleigh found her forever home in an even hotter and sunnier clime (where there are very few sheep to herd). She enjoys long, vigorous walks with mom, and one would never know she once had a broken leg.
