Duke is a rescue dog we adopted from the Tallahassee Animal Shelter in 2010. He is approximately 6 years old and is a Australian Cattle Dog/Kelpie mix. He loves to be called a good boy and will do every trick in the book for a treat. His favorite things include bones, blankets, relaxing on the couch, people and attention. He loves to "herd" and thinks he is a fast runner but almost every other dog at the park is faster. He loves stuffed animals or more specifically he loves to tear the stuffing out of stuffed animals. He gets extremely excited when asked to "go to work with mommy" but sometimes changes his mind when we arrive and he remembers I work at an animal hospital. He is sweet natured, kind and gentle and one of the greatest dogs we have ever owned. We encourage everyone to adopt a rescue animal!
