Scotch and her brother, Nox, were found abandoned with their siblings in a tupperware container by the dumpster of a veterinary clinic when they were about 5 weeks old. The container had been sealed shut with duct tape, and holes had been punched in the top for air. Thankfully, one of the technicians at the clinic noticed something odd about the container and investigated. About a week later, my Dad took me to the clinic to pick out two of the kitties as birthday presents!

Scotch and Nox are now nearing 6 years of age, and they are spoiled rotten! The moment I moved out of the dorm at FSU and into an apartment, they were with me in Tallahassee. The each have their designated spots on the bed, though every morning I have mandatory cuddle time while I lounge. Scotch's favorite way to wake me up is pictured here, with her face right next to mine. As soon as she sees my eyes open, she stretches her neck and starts licking my face! I could not be more blessed to have two such wonderful kitties in my life.

Well...3 kitties, now! Scotch and Nox are slowly coming to terms with the new member of our household, LCHS rescue kitten Elliot, who was saved from the brink of death by the wonderful doctors at Paws and Claws. Though they were hesitant at first, I'm sure my first rescue babies will find room in their hearts for the new one!
