Believe it or not she's not mad...this is just her yawning after a hard day of napping. Her official name is Midnight but we call her Miss Kitty because she now reigns as the family princess. We rescued Miss Kitty from LCHS when she was just a year old weighing only 4.6 lbs. Now she's a healthy 8 lb eating machine! Unfortunately black cats have a bad reputation for being mean and most people are superstitious and associate them with evil. I've owned several black cats for this reason in order to give them a second chance at life and rebuilding their reputation. It's OK if Miss Kitty is featured as the October Halloween cat just because she looks scary as long as the votes come in and she has a chance of showing the world she really is a beautiful princess and she has the ability to make people laugh.
