What makes your dog Lexington’s Top Dog?
Meet Marcel “the Shell”! Shell (as he is affectionately known by his friends) is a handsome 3-year-old pitbull/staffy mix and Lexington Humane Society alum. Despite being found roaming the mean streets of Lexington, this sweet boy has never met a stranger- human, dog, or cat! Marcel can regularly be found hanging out at one of the local breweries begging for butt scratches, making new friends, and leaving a trail of slobber in his wake. When he’s not hanging at a brewery, he can be found on an adventure with his mom at one of his other favorite spots around Lex: hiking the Pinnacles/the Gorge, playing fetch at Jacobson, swimming in the creek at Veteran’s, or walking the streets of Lex in search of the best pup cup. Be sure to say hi next time you see him around town!
