George the Traveling Bulldog
We adopted George when he was four years old from a loving family who could no longer manage the extensive veterinary care he needed. He’s been one of the great loves of our life ever since. Though not exactly an athlete—he considers a trip to the mailbox a marathon—George loves going everywhere with us: planes, trains, automobiles, and, as you can see, canoes! The photo was taken on a camping trip in Vermont. Wherever he goes, George attracts a crowd. People can’t resist his big smile, gentle nature, and charm. He soaks up the attention and spreads joy and bulldog love wherever he travels.
