My Story
Hi Guys, My name is Aymen because when mom got me she said she planned to pray even more that I didn't drive her crazy with my behavior. I am a BIG chocolate boy (113lbs.) with two other pups at home that are black and yellow who just want to play with me all the time. I try to keep up with them but they have so much energy. When mom first brought these two pups into my life I was not too happy since I was the only boy and very spoiled but I have learned to share everything....even my treats. I babysit for mom most nights while she does other stuff around the house. She gets tired much faster then we do for some reason? I have taught the kids many things during our alone time together like digging up the yard and pulling the stuffing out of our toys plus how to bug mom until she stops what she is doing and plays also. We surround her with our squeaky toys and keep squeaking them until she pays attention to us. She timed it up to 17 minutes one time and I could see her hair turning grey when she finally couldn't ignore us any longer. Mom gets mad at me sometimes but I know she's a push-over and I seldom get into trouble because my big beautiful eyes melt her heart making it hard for her to say no to pretty much anything. One thing she really gets upset about is when we go out our door and jump in our pool then come running in soaking wet chasing each other and get water everywhere. She loves us so much there isn't anything she wouldn't do to see we are happy even if she doesn't feel good. I love my mom and stay by her side whenever I can. We even put the kids to bed and have our own walks and time alone because she wants me to know she doesn't love me any less just didn't want me to be alone while she wasn't home. My family continues to grow and it is so exciting. I love my lab life and I really love my mom!

My favorite pastime is
Chasing lizards! They are so fast but I can sniff them out of everywhere. I smash them with my paw and bring them back to show mom what I caught. I line them up so she can count how many I catch. It is very exciting to me. If anything gets in my way I move it and run as fast as I can after them. We just got a new home air-conditioner and they really love sitting on top of it. That is the first place I dart when my door gets opened. I jump all over the a/c trying to see if they are hiding on top. Mom was getting mad because I scratched it up pretty bad but she eventually just gave up because I love my lizard hunting and she can't stop me. Ha! Believe me she has tried and tried but if you ever drive by just look for me standing up on the a/c by the house because if I am outside there is where I will be. (Big grin)

The best thing anyone's ever done for me is
Prayed for me when I had my surgery. Everyone was so worried about me that I had people praying for me in many states. Nobody wanted anything bad to happen to me because I was part of the family and they loved me plus people who really didn't know me just my name and face. People are so nice to me everywhere I go and want to pet me and tell me what a good looking boy I am. I really enjoy all the attention and sometimes I get called an attention hound but I'm not even part hound so I don't understand that but don't care as long as they focus on me.

I can't live without
walks, people and love. I love to walk and see people. I get so excited when someone comes to see us and sometimes they bring other dogs to play with me. Everyone is so nice to me and bring me things. They don't get annoyed or push me aside asking mom to lock me away because my mom don't like people like that. Everyone knows who I am and if they don't I make sure they find out. I hope my mom lets me walk with her for breast cancer this year because that is 3 miles and there will be thousands of people. I am not fond of wearing pink but I would do anything for a walk and a bunch of people.

The naughtiest thing I've ever done is
When I was 6 months old I chewed the metal off the bottom of a door and mommy had to rush me to the emergency hospital to have it removed from my stomach. She was so lonely because I had to stay overnight and she worried horrible. They shaved all the hair off my belly and I was really silly looking for a while. I also jumped out of mom's truck before she told me she was ready and in my rush I hurt both my front legs causing another trip to the doctor. We spent a lot of time at the doctor my first year home. I am not even 2 yet so I am sure we will have more trips there because no matter how hard she tries she can't protect me from everything.

The funniest thing I've ever done is
Pruning all the trees in the yard and pulling up the aloe plants with my mouth. Those trees would lean so far over as I was pulling the branches and leaves off then sling-shot back up in the air. If I got lucky and the branch broke off I would run all over the yard doing victory laps showing everyone what I had just done. It was so much fun until all the branches were gone and mom got rid of the trees since they were so bare. I was just trying to remove any hiding places for those fast running lizards. I ran after one so fast one day I forgot how big I was and got stuck between the Jacuzzi and the house. I didn't think I was ever going to get unstuck but mom couldn't move it and my lizard got away making the situation even worse. Ugh!

My favorite place to go is
Riding in the truck. I don't care where we go as long as the air conditioner is on and my window is down. I stick my head way out and smell everything trying to figure out where we are going this time. Will it be to the dog park, my friend Bubba's house or my best friend David's house. He lets me lick his face for a really long time and I have so much fun hanging out with him. He never disciplines me and lets me have whatever I want. Mom gets upset but I love him so much she can't tell me no. Ha! Told you these eyes get me whatever I want.

I'm completely obsessed with
My mom. She is the best and we do everything together. I help her get the mail and unload the truck and she always brings something home for me. It might be a toy or a treat but she never forgets who's waiting at the door. I lay next to the tub while she takes a shower then lay on her bed while she gets ready for work wishing she could stay home and play. Her friends say they want to die and come back as me. Ha! That's funny! If I am bored she will put me in the truck and we will just go for a ride or maybe go to that place with the tube that shoots out with a milk bone in it. When we go there I always hang my head way out the drivers side so they don't forget to send me one and sometimes I get as many as 3 .... it must be these eyes of mine again. She carries this black bag and it holds these bottles of water and a bag of treats plus she always has a bunch of towels with us because I can make a big mess but she don't mind. When we go for rides sometimes I get as close to her as I can and put my left paw on her leg and ride. She comes home for lunch every day and makes my lunch before hers plus I get ice cream for a treat before she leaves to go back to work. She loves me so much I feel like the luckiest dog in the world and to that I will say......(Amen) Aymen!
