My Story
My name is Shadow. I was adopted at 9months old.....Before that I was born in a shelter....all I knew was cages and ties and sometimes if I was lucky a person would pet me or hold me. I have what they call black dog syndrome, no one wanted me, even when I was little! I don't understand why no one adopted me before! One day I got taken for a car ride....I was so scared! I've never been in a car before! That ride saved my life, when I had to get out I met my mama! She knew nothing about me except for a picture, she wanted ME! She didn't care about my issues of being raised in a cage, she wanted ME! She brought me home where I met my brother Duke another shelter dog :) I was scared for a few weeks....moms kids made me nervous. I toughened up and showed my true colors. Mom calls me mama's baby, because that's what I am. I wait for her when she's away, and no one can make me come out unless it's my mom or her girl! I am a girl dog and am not ashamed! I prefer my mama and her girl, over my dad and hos boys. We get to snuggle every night before bedtime, and I love it! Mom always says thank goodness for my baby, because I'm a bit overprotective of my mom and her girl. No one is allowed near them unless I let them. It's the least I can do, they saved me, and I will protect them always now. Mom's calling bed now, gotta get my spot before my brother Duke does, he doesn't like to share our king bed :)

My favorite pastime is
Laying on my mama's daughter. And chasing the bunnies under the shed :) I will get one!

The best thing anyone's ever done for me is
Showing me it's ok to be protective and friendly at the same time.

I can't live without
My mama, I cry when she leaves me home

The naughtiest thing I've ever done is
I ate my puffy bed, when mom had to work away. Dad couldn't make me feel better.

The funniest thing I've ever done is
Layed on my mama's daughter nonstop no matter where she went. Just to get a pet :)

My favorite place to go is
I don't like to go away.. ..so mama's bed is it!

I'm completely obsessed with
The bunnies under the shed I can't get to!
