My Story
Trooper was a rescue from Coweta County Animal Shelter. I have no idea why I decided that particular day to "drop by"....but I did.....and there he was....and he was on "the list". Needless to say, I'm not sure who found who, but I can honestly say he was my true "heart and soul" dog, and I have never loved another dog as I did him. I'm pretty sure he lived heaven on earth in his mind, but now he's in the true heaven waiting 'til we meet again. (Not sure you can use him since he is no longer with us, but I just captured this amazing moment with him Feb 2010 during the snow....of course I was holding a tennis ball to catch the pose :)

My favorite pastime is
Swim, fetch, repeat...24/7

The best thing anyone's ever done for me is
I'm pretty sure Trooper would say it was to spring him from death row. ( I didn't realize at the time how terminal being a black dog can be. I remember seeing the "extremely urgent" sign. I cannot imagine the amazing dog that could've been lost that day)

I can't live without
Before he died, it was truly 24/7 with a tennis ball. If there wasn't a ball around anything would do.... rock, pinecone, stick, lumber

The naughtiest thing I've ever done is
The newspaper.....he could never quite master the fact that it wasn't supposed to be totally pulverized

The funniest thing I've ever done is
Climbing in bed and spooning with my mom and she never knew it until the next morning.

My favorite place to go is
The lake
