Fun Facts About Your Rescue Dog
We adopted Rocco when he was 3 months old after I had begged my dad for a dog my entire life. When we first went to look at puppies, I went in not knowing what to expect. I’d never had a dog before. I walked past all the pups who were jumping and whining and spotted a little brown lump, afraid in the corner. I knew he was the one. They told us puppy number 15 had arrived that morning and was afraid of people. I knew I loved him and could teach him that people were not bad. Since 2012, puppy number 15, now known as Rocco Marvin Pierro, has made me the happiest person in the world. Rocco enjoys hiking, going to Target, kayaking, chasing bunnies and of course eating snacks. Rocco has many dear friends who he always looks forward to having play dates with. His best friends are Smoky and Samantha. Some of Rocco’s accomplishments are hiking a 14er, learning many tricks (like how to pick up his toys) and learning how to be a best friend. He has brought immense joy to my life and the life of others, and even has an instagram! You know you found a good dog when people ask about how your dog is doing before they ask about you. Rocco has every quality a best friend should have, like having a heart of gold, being able to share ANYTHING, and always being there to cheer you up when things get hard. He has helped me through many tough times. I will eternally be grateful for what he has done for me. Lifeline puppy, thank you for my best friend.
