Fun Facts About Your Rescue Dog
Ellie Rose wishes everybody a Happy New 'EAR! When we rescued her as an 8 week old puppy in February 2022, she suffered from Carpal Laxity Syndrome and could barely walk. Now she's completely recovered and one of the fastest dogs at the park! Her ears are the real attention-grabbers, though. She's an Aussie Cattle Dog (Red Heeler)/Pit Mix, and we're convinced that her amazing ears are holdovers from when Australian Heelers were cross-bred with wild Dingos back in the late 1800s.

Ellie loves playing chase, running free, and sitting in the front window watching the neighborhood goings-on. She dislikes peanut butter and vacuum cleaners. Her special talent is ringing a bell when she wants to go outside. When she grows up she wants to be a professional mattress tester.
