Fun Facts About Your Rescue Dog
Roxxy was rescued from Friona, TX, known as the 'Cheeseburger Capital' of Texas in the heart of beef country. She was born 3 days after we lost our beloved dog Oliver. So we believe Oliver delivered her to us. When we adopted her she was passed over the entire day after we went and deliberated over lunch. We said if she is still there, we couldn't leave here there. Sure enough, there she was...one of the few left. The doe eyes and her sweet demeanor captivated us and she has been a blessing to help us recover from our loss ever since. She is the sweetest dog and has the craziest long legs. We did the DNA and it came back about equal parts mini-schnauzer, chihuahua, and poodle (we call her a Schnauz-chi-poo) and a very mixed remaining part mutts of sorts. We call her a Chihuahua on stilts at all of 9.5 lbs. She super-fast and jumps like a deer, does zoomies like crazy and loves being buried in her crate when she winds down. Aside from being a picky-eater she is a great dog, getting more social all the time and getter better every day.
