Animal's Story/Bio
Penny was rescued by the great folks at Lincoln County Humane Society. She was found as a stray, lactating; as she had recently given birth to puppies and then abandoned. Sadly, we know pug puppies sell for a great price. It breaks my heart that someone abandoned her this way, and would profit from her babies.

Our Penny is priceless, she is a big part of our family and just simply amazing. It took a while for Penny to know what toys and treats were, at first she would bark at them, and pull back. Now she loves her toybox of squeakies, treats, bones, Mamma's bed and blankeys, hugs, cuddles and kissies. Thank you Lincoln County Humane Society for the great work you are doing, for rescuing Penny and for giving us such a loving addition to our family.

This little girl was found as a stray after giving birth to puppies. Found in a lactating state, she could have been killed as a stray but Lincoln county Humane Society rescued her.

I am sure the puppies sold for a pretty penny or "price" , Penny's life is priceless and being left in the condition she was found in to fend for herself is creul in my opinion.

Please vote for smiling Penny the Pug, my girl who would like everyone to know she is smiling that her story be told. Let's raise awareness to dogs like Penny. For those who purchase pups - ask about Mamma and where and how she is. If you suspect abuse report it to the SPCA.
