Animal's Story/Bio
Abby came to use from Louisiana when she was 3 months old. Right from the beginning we had a tough go with her. While she has ALWAYS been safe and loved, she’s had a hard life. She’s been sick ever since she was a year old. With health concern after health concern, pet insurance became a lifesaver (literally). We didn’t think she’d make it this long, but here she is, 8 years old and still with us. Abby has been one of the hardest but most rewarding battles I’ve ever fought. Throughout everything she’s shown us (and we’ve shown her) endless love and support. We are loyal to her, as she is loyal to us. Her days are numbered, and every day I worry it’ll be her last day. Every day I check on her as she sleeps to make sure she’s still with us, but she’s still here.

Why Vote?
Abby is not the poster dog for the perfect adoption, but she is a realistic case. She shows everyone that owning a dog is hard, and not to be taken lightly. It also shows that throughout everything, love preservers. Abby’s days are numbered and I would love to have her put on here to have her memory live on even after she’s gone.
